Although the build is decent at occasionally causing bleed it was much harder to proc it at Gank City. Not because people had higher resistances to it or were significantly better at dodging but rather because more people ran for long periods of time or just had several more phantoms in the way. It's hard to say if anyone noticed the bleed bar and were concerned about it given how often I spent chasing people this time around. Not surprising that I spent more time using the Katana for chasing them down.
One thing I didn't really try (in an actual invasion) that might be worth considering was using the Frayed Blade WA to quickly build the bleed bar to almost the halfway point (where it usually gets to for medium armored opponents) and then swap to the Carthus Curved Greatsword, by the time bleed procs they'll probably be low enough on health that it will likely finish them. I suspect that if they aren't concerned or paying attention to the meter that they'll bleed very quickly and if they do notice it might be a little more panicked than usual.
