Is Dark Souls 1 still worth playing in 2026 or does it leave you feeling… Hollow?
After playing Elden Ring and Bloodborne, I wanted to go back to the game that really propelled From Software into the spotlight. Dark Souls 1 Prepare To Die Edition is still a great play in 2026 as long as you know what you are getting into. This video is about my experience playing through this game for the first time.
You’re definitely going to want to install DSFix to get to 60fps. Below is a link to the mod and a video showing how to do it (it’s easy).
