Dark N' Stormy is the National drink of Bermuda. Just like any other classic cocktail. The history is a bit shaky and lost in time. What we know is that this drink dates back to the British Navy. It is said that it originated in a Ginger Beer Factory. People mixed Ginger Beer with some local dark rum. And guess what? It turned out delicious. So here we are, still drinking Dark 'N Stormy. Today I wanted to take an opportunity to make this classic 3 different ways.

.5oz (15ml) Lime Juice -optional-
2oz (60ml) Dark Rum -from Bermuda-
3-4oz (90-120ml) Ginger Beer
Garnish with Lime Wedge

.5oz (15ml) Fresh Lime Juice
.25oz (7.5ml) Ginger Syrup
3-4oz (90-120ml) Ginger Beer
Float 2oz (60ml) Dark Rum -from Bermuda-
Garnish with Lime Wheel

.75oz (22.5ml) Ginger Syrup
2oz (60ml) Dark Rum -from Bermuda-
Shake, Double Strain, Add 2-4 Dashes of Angostura Bitters (Optional) and Garnish with a Lime Wheel and Mint.
