Dark Eyes: Battle Gate is a tactical RPG designed to serve as a prologue to the forgotten MMORPG Dark Eyes. It's set in a world where the world is divided into two groups with a very unsteady peace, and the peace is broken by the intervention of a third group of cultists. It's actually a really intriguing game—mainly for its context rather than its content—but it's also not very well made. The entire game has the feeling of inadequate playtesting.
Also the music is incredible.
