Played on PCSX2, and I used a lot of save states.
Also do mind the slow downs because my CPU can barely handle it.
In this part of the game, we finally finished the Rainbow Butterfly Forest and even went 1 on 1 with the Butterfly. I was pretty confused at first how to progress in the game, but thankfully I push through on rebuilding Sindain and luckily it was where I should've progressed. Walking to the next chapter, we are going to Balance Valley and into the Starlight Canyon dungeon.

And we are finally here. After farming for hours off camera, I managed to make both Max & Monica melee weapon to their strongest form, and also Max gun, which actually helped me a shitton in this game, into one of his strongest range weapon. The final boss definitely whooped my ass, I didnt remember much playing the final boss as a kid, but given a gauntlet of boss fights at the end would definitely intimidate me. If it were not for the save state of PCSX2, It would probably add 20-30 minutes into the gameplay. But anyway, I am done with Dark Cloud 2, wont need the Nostalgia for maybe the next 5 years or so, still an amazing game, wish Level-5 and Sony could make a new one. And speaking of Level-5, my next playthrough on the PCSX2 will be Rogue Legacy!! See you there, and thanks for watching.
