If you follow retro video games at all, you most likely are familiar with James Rolfe, aka the Angry Video Game Nerd. I certainly am, and he's a big part of why Zilog and Moto exists. As a rule, he primarily covers Nintendo games, so any time he does a video based on a game from another platform, it's usually notable, and such was the case with today's game, Dark Castle.
I remember watching his take on the game when it originally aired about 15 years ago, and of course went away thinking, "Man, that game must be awful". But, one thing I've learned since starting Zilog and Moto is, things aren't always as they appear, and as Dark Castle came up on the schedule this week, I started to think, "Is it really that bad?"
