If you say you support accountability, believe in my mission, and call yourself a supporter of what I do, then you already know one thing about me: accountability has no celebrity exemption.
I don’t care if you’re famous, popular, connected, or an everyday person. If you do something to me that I believe is wrong, I don’t immediately run to social media. I give people an opportunity to make it right. I reach out. I wait. I give grace.
But grace has an expiration date.
You don’t get to say you support accountability and then act surprised when accountability reaches your front door.
All I ask is simple: keep it real with me and don’t cross me. If something happens, own it, address it, apologize, and rectify it. When repeated attempts to resolve something privately are ignored, then we’re going to talk about it publicly, and I’m bringing the receipts. Phone calls don’t lie. DMs don’t lie. Receipts don’t lie. People do.
