Polinas Pages | Dante's Inferno- Review @PolinasPages | Uploaded May 2021 | Updated October 2024, 9 hours ago.
Dante Alighieri- the thinker, the philosopher, the literary theorist, and the author of The Divine Comedy. Today I’m talking about my experience while reading Inferno, the first of the three works comprising the epic poem, and doing a review. I’m sharing some tips on what to know in advance before picking up the book, and giving some resources that I found particularly helpful. Please share your thoughts on the work if you’ve read it in the comments, especially in regards to how should contemporary readers be judging a 15th century comedy. If you like this content, consider a like and subscribe:0 happy watching!!!:)

Resources:
The internet is a brilliant life saver in terms of educating oneself on the topic. These are just some of the links I found particularly fascinating. Feel free to drop comments with more recommendations, whether you’re a beginner to Dante like me, or know a lot, it’s still nice to read some papers on the topic and different opinions.
