The more I think about it, the more I prefer Valerie over Sam as a love interest. She had a much more interesting character, backstory, and relationship dynamic with Danny. I wish that this relationship had lasted more than two episodes.
Anyway, I know that I don't typically mask for canon videos, but this time, I had a story in mind. Essentially, Danny and Valerie are dating, but in a fight, she finds out that he's half-ghost due to him turning back after passing out. They break up, but keep running into each other in their normal and hero lives. While confused on their feelings, both Danny and Valerie try seeing other people (Sam and Tucker respectively), and try to hate the other and what they had, but keep coming back around to how things used to be and how they still feel.
And you know what? I might write a fanfiction about that if I ever finish my way-too-long Secret Saturdays and Kuroshitsuji ones. This plot idea is now trademarked. Don't try it, or you'll be hearing from my lawyers.
