This wasn't supposed to be a lyrical video at first, but the simplicity looked so pretty... as soon as I got the running wolf sequences aligned and inserted text, I couldn't destroy the simplicity by adding other clips, so I left it ♥
So I guess you could say that this is my first lyrical video, haha. It wasn't intentional, it just happened... so I hope you guys will find it different and calming :)
I made this video for my band teacher, Mr. Smith. This song really gets to him (not this exact version, but this song in general... I had this version by Declan in my iTunes and I love his voice so much (even though he's a little kid) so I couldn't help it...) and this is also one of my favorite songs of all time... so guess what - a birthday video was born!
This is the second time I've made a birthday video for Mr. Smith. Since I make videos for my friends and show them during band class, I thought it only fair to make one for his birthday as well ♥ Plus this is my last year having him as a teacher... So I must give him my thanks and appreciation for all of these years (6, to be exact)...
Oh, and you may now notice that my intro is actually the beginning of this exact song, "Danny Boy" ... if you didn't realize it before, there's a fun surprise for you lol. It was interesting to be able to continue on the audio from my intro as if it was actually built into the actual video.

Wow, Im upset at YouTube. I shouldve copied the video description before deleting my original upload that would play because YouTube gave me a duplicate upload message and wouldnt let me get into my second upload to get the description. So this is upload three, yay.
My thumbnails wouldnt render at all the first time so I was forced to reupload. I didnt know there was a duplicate upload error that could happen when I tried to fix it with the second upload....
Im not going to try to write the description again, so hopefully you can just watch the video and get what Im trying to imply. lol.
The purpose of this video was mostly a practice for my voiceovers.

Okay, so I have a lot to talk about.
First off, I would like to say that ALL of you who subscribed to me over these past years are so amazing, and I wanted to say thanks by making a 400 subscriber video! :D With this, it leads into my second point. I wanted to make this video special, and to do so, I used How To Train Your Dragon for the first time! :3 I regret not watching it until a couple weeks ago... its so good! I LOVE the ending!!!
Third off... I had to put my baby to sleep on Monday the 18th. My cat, Tiger - he was a 9 year old gray tabby, and he was starting to get very sick. He was staring to have urinary problems, probably from having a sensitive stomach and picky diet... and he was in a lot of pain so we decided it was best to put him to sleep. It was very hard, and I tried to take my mind off of it by 1) watching How To Train Your Dragon, and 2) starting to EDIT How To Train Your Dragon X3 So this is what the outcome was - I am pretty content with how it turned out :3
FOURTH of all: Putting my cat to sleep meant that we would soon get another cat, because my house is WAY too lonely without cats XP So, my brother, my mom and I went to the humane society and adopted 2 kittens! They are sisters, which is really nice; they are about 3 months old now. We named one Mae, and she is a tortoiseshell cat. The other is Lily, and she is black with white paws and a white chin - I love them so much, theyre so soft and small :3 Ill try to make a video to show them to you guys, but Im not good at pulling through with those kinds of videos XD
So thats what has been going on with me lately! A lot, I know. And if you read all of this, YOU GET A COOKIE! :D

For clarification...
The idea to make a wolf video came along during a birthday party in early October. I (Carly) had made a video with this song to Avatar: The Last Airbender earlier in September and everyone seemed to like it... Before long, people started getting epic ideas for videos! 8 months of planning and this is the result!

This video was a total PAIN to edit. Sony Vegas was being dumb and constantly giving me the your system is low on memory error so I had to go to extreme measures to be able to render it correctly. (By extreme measures I mean: first rendering in .avi (which came out to a whopping 51 GB! Not MB, GB! You heard me right!) and then putting the .avi file back in and rendering in HD .wmv) Not only did that happen once, but I got that same error even after I had cut the video into 5 separate parts and edited them all that way. Eventually I had to go out of my comfort zone to be able to have this video done on time and in the way I wanted it to be. And thats the story of my life so far. -Carly, UUFA editor

Ive been working on this for 2 days straight. Literally. I started this yesterday at about noon and went to bed at about midnight. Then I woke up and got right back at it again X3 The thing that made me frustrated though was that I was already pretty much DONE with it by the time I went to bed, but the little details took me all day today to fix up! XP I hate when editing projects do that to me! XD
I hope the circle overlay looks alright! D: I was going to change the opacity so it wouldnt overpower the darker clips so much, but then it changed the color when I split it into parts (since I used effects to make it change color) and I didnt want to screw anything up so I just left it how it was.
