Danielle Allen, the director of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University and a professor in Harvard's Department of Government and Graduate School of Education, delivered a keynote address on democracy at the 100th Pulitzer Prize awards ceremony. Titled, "Along This Path Lies Hope," the address was given at Low Library, Columbia University in New York City on October 13. Allen is a past Pulitzer Board chair.
