There was a massive double rainbow in the sky which drew us outside to shoot a video.
One of the first songs written for Daniel Profeta's upcoming album "Antlers", Snake Oil took the longest to create (ironic for being such a brief track), only being truly finished after about 5 months of painstaking rewrites. The initial version was over 20 minutes long and included nearly 7 pages of lyrics.
The backing synths you hear were created by inserting wires and gizmos into mushrooms and recording the electrical pulses.
