Daniel was born on Friday, September 13th in 1985 and got his first piano lessons when he was five years old.
In 1994, he began receiving instruction from the great piano teacher, Prof. Gregor Weichert. During his 11 years of classical piano training, he won first prize in the "Jugend Musiziert" piano competition several times over.
It was during a visit to the United States in 2003 where he fell in love with Swing, Boogie and Jazz piano.
Back home in Germany, he intensely studied this style of piano for several years and started touring as a professional musician.
Meanwhile, Daniel plays more than 100 concerts every year not only with his Trio, but aswell alongside different Swing, Blues and Rock n' Roll bands all over Europe.
In 2017 Daniel recieved the „German Boogie Woogie Award Pinetop“ in the category „Boogie and Swing Piano".
If he's not busy traveling and playing live, he is teaching piano at the university in his hometown or composing contemporary piano music at home in his studio.
