Daniel "Danny" Forger is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Michigan as well as an accomplished pipe organist. At ICM 2026, Dr. Forger performed for meeting attendees in Philadelphia's Basilica Cathedral following a lecture on his collaborative project with UMich's Pipe Organ Department. With Professor Emeritus James Kibbie, Dr. Forger used recordings of Bach pieces played on pipe organs to study mathematical patterns in music listening, learning, and performance.
