Daniel And The Dixie Diggers is an animatronic band created by Sally Dark Rides in the 1980's. It was mainly featured at a FEC known as "Celebration Station." This particular show is at Roller Kingdom in Reno, Nevada, and has been here for over 20 years according to one of the workers.
The band consists of 3 dogs, Colonel T. Beauregard III who plays an electric guitar (normally a banjo), Scratchmo (who is supposed to play the trumpet but he doesn't have his here), and Daniel T. Bones, who plays the piano. There is also a 5 group band that was produced with two other dogs named Sir Percy Perceval and Huck L. Berry.
Unfortunately, this show is not in working condition, and will more than likely never be as long as they stay here. The worker who I spoke to said he wants to "take a rope up there and pull them off" so it's safe to assume that they don't care for them. It turns out that my mom knows the guy who owns this place and maybe we could take the animatronics off their hands, but who really knows at this point. Either way, it's a really cool animatronic band and it was a nice experience going here.
