My first clear of CAVE's Dangun Feveron (フィーバロン), aka Fever SOS, played on the PCB.

13:39 - Stage 5
16:59 - Final Boss & Ending
Dangun Feveron is intense, possibly the most intense game CAVE has ever created on a "things happening per second" sort of measurement. Basically, there is no downtime at all and the game constantly bombards you with enemies, bullets, and items to collect the entire time. It's just a relentless onslaught, and figuring out how to manage all of this without getting overwhelmed is key.
The scoring system is quite simple, basically all you need to do is kill everything as quickly as possible and then collect the trapped cyborgs or "discomen" that the enemies drop. If you miss even a single one you can basically kiss your score for that stage goodbye.
CAVE has also decided to give this game a disco-theme, something that is certainly unique and quite hilarious at times but also kind of distracting and goofy. If I'm being totally honest I wish they had went a more traditional route with the theme but it certainly doesn't ruin the game or anything. In fact, I would say the music is actually one of the highlights, especially the final stage theme.
Other things to note:
-You get 1 extend when you collect around 2200 discomen
-If you clear the game without dying you will face a new, True Last Boss (TLB). Unfortunately this final battle is a complete joke as you are invincible due to a programming bug. If you want to fight the boss "properly" you can use a bomb ( good luck getting to him with any bombs left) and you will no longer be invincible.
My next goal is to beat the TLB, we'll see if that happens.
