WARNING: MAJOR DANGANRONPA 1 SPOILERS AHEAD
Despair has invaded the WWE! What if the students of Hope’s Peak Academy shared their Ultimate Talents in the squared circle of a WWE Arena? Suplexes, murder, steel chairs, and DESPAIR!
This is Danganwrestling, a 6-part video series spinning crossover story between the universes of Danganronpa and the WWE. Monokuma has taken control of Monday Night RAW, sending their champion John Cena to hell. The despicable bear has also brought in a few students from his previous death trial at Hope’s Peak Academy to participate in a new killing game with the Superstars of the WWE. If the WWE Universe doesn’t play by Monokuma’s rules, they’ll be trapped in the arena forever! This sparks a struggle between anime and pro wrestling that the world has never seen before!
Join Kyoko Kirigiri and her friends as they wrestle with despair, facing off with WWE Superstars like The Rock, John Cena, and Roman Reigns.
Danganwrestling features extensive use of the WWE 2K14 creation suite, with numerous Danganronpa favorties recreated to be part of the WWE roster. Danganwrestling pushes WWE 2K14’s Story Designer to its limits, telling a story that expands into greater narrative tools that could not possibly be done within the walls of a WWE video game. Danganwrestling is part wrestling, part anime, part visual novel, part murder mystery, and all madness.
