CFS decided that a Secret Santa wasn't enough so we immediately started a Secret Senpai and OMG it was so fun. It's been a couple of years since I've seen Yuri on Ice and making this AMV made me want to just stop and watch it immediately. It was so much fun to make.

I really like the start of this AMV, then I admit, I lost direction at the end. It started out as part of an inside joke between me and some friends (looking at you King) who have a running joke about Fakir being sweaty and I had to do something with him and Glisten. But then I kinda stalled cuz I wasnt sure how to transition to his relationship with another character, so I chose one of Uzura looking up, with the hope that it looked like Uzura was watching Fakir dance. Then my brain started doing its usual Fakir and Edel have this weird but interesting relationship web thing going on, right? and I wanted to incorporate some of that, since Fakir and Uzura dont have a lot of scenes together. But I did try to circle back to Uzura.

The princess and knight spins were essential.
Yall this was the most complicated collab Ive ever done. You know how you usually divide up a song and everyone just does their parts and puts it together at the end? HA! Not this Frankenstein. Id be surprised if anyone can tell who did what all the way through.
That said I do think it is one of the coolest projects weve done in a while. We really wanted this video to have that nostalgic feeling of remembering watching all of these movies on a tube TV, and I really hope it came through. If nothing else, weve been told by a few people that the vibes are *immaculate.*

Over the last month or so, the Sashimi Discord Server wanted to do a vid exchange pretty reminiscent of a Secret Santa, except for Buddhas Birthday~ Personally, I love doing vid exchanges, so I am all about it.
For this event, I got an editor that I havent interacted with a lot, though I am so pleased I did. Doing this video was an interesting challenge because the only specific thing Katranat asked for was an anime I had never seen.
So of course I had to watch it.
And fall in love with it. Im obsessed. Katranat, this is all your fault.
