Written June 4, 2025, this is an original organ composition for one manual and no pedal. It is in a light, spritely, mystical, and modern style. When I was young living in lower Alabama in the summertime fireflies filled the sky. We used to love chasing and catching them at night. It was a time of childhood and dreams. Now, I never seem to see the same amount of fireflies or lightning bugs as we also called them and I miss it. Hope you enjoy!
