My research job takes up a large portion of my time, though I'm not gone from YouTube. With this video, I want to share a guide, which was collaboratively made, on how to archive artwork onto danbooru.

Danbooru is a repository of anime-style artwork that has become an unmistakably useful tool to find (reference) artwork, and a centralized hub allowing the (reverse-) lookup of works scattered around the web including those long deleted elsewhere. With its memory going back to 2005, danbooru has played a role in shaping the Western otaku-related communities. It is a mixed repository of SFW and NSFW art.

Danbooru relies on volunteer contributors who select, tag, translate and categorize artwork of artists who they admire. Using various tools, contributing is now easier than ever before. As with other public libraries and archives; it is not possible to ask every artist for permission prior to archival. Danbooru respects the wishes of artists if they do not want to have their works on danbooru. In this case, you can contact the site via danbooru.donmai.us/contact or via the discord, to get your artist entry and your artwork removed from the site.
