Dana has been passionate about discovering the innate wisdom and clarity of the breath for much of her life, as a flautist and singer, breathwork practitioner and trainer, and an adventurous traveler. Dana is a compassionate healer, motivational speaker, gifted musician and inspiring seminar leader who has taught and performed internationally for over 24 years.
Since the age of four, music has played a large role in Dana's creative expression and she now masterfully plays instruments from the piano and harmonium to over 20 different flutes. Her music has touched hearts everywhere from the Lotus Temple in India to the Grace Cathedral in San Francisco.
Dana has been honored to play devotional music with many world-class musicians, including Shimshai, Robert Gass, Suzanne Sterling, Hans Christian and Karnamrita Dasi, as well as opening for Jai Utal. And her band "Dharma Rose" is well known for weaving together a rich tapestry of sound, joyful harmonies and ecstatic rhythms. As a composer and recording artist Dana's sacred sounds are created in the service of calming the mind and opening the heart.
Passionate about immersing herself in ancient music, creativity, and culture, Dana has traveled around the world, from Maui to India to Bali, and has developed group-traveling experiences to make these treasures accessible to others.
Since 1984 Dana has practiced and taught extensively with the global Breathwork/Rebirthing Community, including Sondra Ray, Bob Mandel, and a worldwide team of trainers. It is out of this deep commitment to the transformative power of healing breath that Dana co-created Clarity Breathwork in 1990. After being certified as a Breathwork Practitioner and Trainer by the Association of Rebirthers and Trainers International Dana developed an extensive training and certification process for Clarity Breathwork-™.
Dana has dedicated her life to studying and practicing many healing arts, including Shamanic prayers, Hawaiian Kahuna practices, and has been granted a Reiki Master degree. She has also worked extensively with the Shaman founder of Condor Blanco International, a holistic healing center in Chile, and has been certified with them as a facilitator and trainer. As owner of Clarity Productions she has touched thousands of people with Breathwork retreats and trainings, private sessions, seminars and musical offerings.
Along with her deep compassion and presence, Dana integrates these many healing modalities and life experiences into her work to benefit others along their healing journey. Dana believes the greatest instrument for change is love itself, and that these healing tools can assist us on our healing journey to return to that which we truly are, already healed and whole.
