We supported our Ambassador Dan Pelling following a hit and run accident in 2000 that left him paralysed from the chest down. We purchased a house for Dan through the Fund's Housing Trust in 2003, allowing him to move into a specially adapted bungalow close to his family.

More recently, we provided accessible kitchen units and landscaped the garden to make it easier for him to manoeuvre in his wheelchair. Find out more: rafbf.org/help
