When this song first came out, there were TONS of Delena videos with it, but back then, even if she kept rejecting him, I didn't think it fit them -- it was more of a Damon/Katherine song to me. But with the way Elena acted, the things she did and said to Damon in 3x14 and 3x15, the song is now fitting for them too. I gotta say I am disappointed and sad it fits them now. I really hoped Elena would never hurt Damon the way she did, but it happened. I still have hope for them -- even more so, I know they will happen, especially after the scene with Elena&Matt in 3x16. But even in 3x16 Elena's attitude pissed me off. I know Damon has done terrible things to her, but he has never claimed to be a saint -- on the contrary, he always portrayed himself as the bad guy, even though in his heart he isn't, and as Elena said, each and every of his actions is driven by love. Elena knew what she was dealing with all along, yet she pretends she didn't. And she fights what she feels and hurts him and herself. I miss the times where she took the time to understand Damon and to be really there for him. Don't get me wrong, I still ship them and want them to be an end game. But Elena will never be the same to me, and I think it's the same with most Delena fans. Damon may be rash and impulsive and ignore collateral damage most of the time, but he doesn't deserve this -- he, too, deserves love and understanding.
