Desdemona (the one singing) is the (girl)friend and partner in crime of Fotini, a well-intentioned girl turned cult leader. Des is convinced that Fotini's followers might turn on her if they figure out her bluff, so she goes to the town's leaders (also secretly the twin gods of the moon and the sun), Selene (girl on throne) and Eelio (guy in armor) pleading for their help. At first they dismiss her, but they're actually well-aware of Fotini's cult, and they know there's a way they could use Des in their plans too... in other words, Jesus and Judas doomed yuri
