Long story short - my easel goes on my desk. I get a bit violent with my brush strokes and splattering. I happened to have a thick glob of cadmium red on my brush. This painting of the mushroom cloud happened to be on a high shelf above my desk...and it STILL managed to hit it! Well, that painting survived ONE YEAR completely safe until I left it on my shelf and - yep, fabulous. Now my yellow has cadmium red smudges and prussian blue blobs over it.
