‘Dollshouse And Miniature Enthusiasts’ are a group of passionate miniature makers who meet monthly in Belfast to share skills, inspiration and craic. Via regular exhibition DAME has raised over £65,000 for local charities since being founded in 1989.'

It's Saturday 29th of August 2026 and I'm up at Hillmount Garden Centre in the Belfast Castlereagh hills, to film the fantastic Dolls House and Miniatures Enthusiasts, Exhibition,
( DAME ), that is running just today and tomorrow. This exhibition is exclusive to Hillmount. It will not be seen anywhere else this year. The Dame exhibition is probably the largest dolls house and miniatures exhibition in all Ireland.
The exhibition will also feature a sales table selling the work of members.
I am very privileged to be allowed to video it.
'Come along and help celebrate over 35 years of DAME (Dollshouse and Miniatures Enthusiasts) at our exhbition at Hillmount Garden centre.
This two day exhibition will showcase the amazing miniature model scenes and dollshouse created by members of this local Dame club over this past year! Come along and marvel at these tiny constructions and learn how to get involved in this fascinating hobby.'
Entrance is by donation, with 100% of the money going to the clubs annual chosen charities.
The Dame Exhibition's chosen charities this year 2026 are-
*Horatio's Garden
Horatio’s Garden Northern Ireland, our seventh garden, opened at the heart of the Spinal Cord Injuries Unit (SCIU), in Musgrave Park Hospital, Belfast in 2023.
The garden supports patients with spinal injuries from across the entirety of Northern Ireland, as well as people staying in the Amputee Rehabilitation Unit.
*Woman's Aid North Down & Ards
North Down and Ards Women's Aid is a voluntary organization which exists to provide advice, support and refuge to women and their children who have experienced or are still experiencing the effects of physical, emotional or sexual abuse.
North Down & Ards Women’s Aid aim is to provide temporary accommodation, support and information to women and children who have experienced domestic violence.
PLEASE NOTE ENTRANCE DONATION AND PAYMENT FOR SALES IS CASH ONLY.
