All hail the walking motivational quote!

Deep in the Dalai Lama's temple in Dharamshala, India, the Lama was recorded kissing a young boy on the lips and then asked the child to suck his tongue. His people issued a statement saying that "His Holiness" often teases "in an innocent and playful way", adding that he wants to apologize to those involved and "regrets the incident".

Regrets? But, it's normal right? After all, those who can't function without Mr. Miyagi's words of wisdom have argued that the interaction was just a joke. In fact, some nucking futters say that sticking out one's tongue is one form of a traditional Tibetan greeting...

...although...no "sucking" is involved.

Some say that it was an "innocent grandfatherly affectionate demeanor" or a "jovial prank" with the tongue.

Now, according to Tibetans, "eat my tongue", is a common expression to tease children. Some even claim that "suck my tongue" is also a game for elders to "deter kids from pestering them".

Now, sticking out one's tongue is kind of different from asking a kid to suck it.
