Out and about in the Daimler SP250 when it decided that it wouldn't start. The ignition turned on but the starter was completely dead. Fortunately I was able to use the manual button on the starter motor solenoid to start the engine. I had to lift the bonnet and start the engine this way everytime I stopped on the way home. I finally found time to investigate. . . .

05:50 Continuity check of red / white wire. OK
06:35 Ignition switch removed & checked. OK
10:50 Reassembly and test. Working again :)
