Learn Dagger 2 Dependency Injection in Android. In this video - learn what is a singleton, how to define singletons in dagger 2 using @Singleton annotation. @Singleton is just a normal annotation that defines a scope using @Scope annotation. @Scope define the lifetime of the singletons. @Singleton annotation creates single objects within the component. Component is just a bag of objects with singletons and other objects. If component object is re-created, then singletons inside that component will be recreated. So to achieve true singleton behavior i.e. object exists for the whole lifetime of the application - you need to create your component at the application level. Learn all about this in Hindi.
