Here's a comparison video showing the restored and unrestored prints of the public domain Daffy Duck cartoon "Daffy Duck and the Dinosaur" (1939).
The restored print is found on official DVD releases by Warner Bros. starting with the Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume 3, and can also be viewed on the HBO Max streaming service.
The unrestored print is commonly found on many low budget VHS tapes and DVDs containing public domain cartoons, all of which have prints of similar quality.
