I am so used to say something like "long time no see" at the beginning of my vid descriptions that I actually sat in confusion when I opened this one! Yeah, my last vid was unusually not that long ago and it was so well recieved, thank you all! I mentioned it in some places, but I will mention here as well - I got to 5K subscriptions and I am beyond happy. Thank you!

About this vid:
I love making crossovers and AUs with Game of Thrones, maybe you've already noticed. It has this vibe and a lot of content that excites me and my tragic plots. So here is another one! I suppose the pairing may seem a bit obvious, I couldn't resist vidding two Queens that went wrong. I may not agree with all the things the writers have done to their characters but I cannot deny their impact and amount of amazing and complex content they bring to my imagination. So well, I had a lot of fun vidding them and at some point I got too much to fit with this song, so maybe I will vid them again one day :)

STORY:
Octavia is the ruler that people of the clans have chosen after rebellion they rised against previous Mad King. Daenerys is Mad King's daughter who fled the country few years earlier, when the rebellion began. Now, she comes back and demands what, in her mind, is rightfully hers - the crown. She is brutal. She shows off her fire magic and dragons to spread fear and respect. Octavia tries to approach Daenerys peacefully but refuses to recognize her as the rightful Queen. I suppose that's where the story in the vid begins.
Tyrion here, is Dany's advisor who fled with her when rebellion ignited and through years when she rose in power he observed her slow descend into violent ways. He recognizes Octavia as a chance to stop Daenerys from becoming the doom of the Kingdom.
Daenerys respects Octavia for how she gained the loyalty of the whole Kingdom and doesn't want to kill her - she'd like to make her some kind of advisor, hand maybe? But Octavia keeps refusing to bend the knee. She sees Dany as a threat to her country but is aware of her power and strong will. She sees some reflections of herself in the Dragon Queen.
What comes later is... well, a mess. Passive-agressive game of fascination, fear and respect. Octavia knows he should get rid of Daenerys but she grows attached to her to the point where instead of taking her life she saves it. Twice.
Things get warmer between them, passionate even. There seems to be hope for some kind of coalition, cooperation. Octavia is hopeful.
But it appears that Daenerys has only warmed her heart towards Octavia. Her brutality strikes again and she burns the whole city of people who refused to accept her rule. It is a final blow. Octavia knows she has to kill her. She decides to play in Dragon Queen's game and show her own brutal power. She kills her royal servant, Jorah. Daenerys is shaken but she realizes then that her heart is in this tragic position, where it belongs to the Chosen Queen no matter what she does. She clings to violence and her vision where they both can still rule together. But they can't. Octavia knows that and with a heavy heart, she kills Daenerys.
