One of the biggest controversies on YouTube, and on the internet as a whole towards the beginning of last year was that of Daddy O Five, a YouTube vlogging channel dedicated to a family of people living West Virginia, and all of the antics that would occur within this family. Now maybe on the surface this may seem like a somewhat dysfunctional comedic channel about a family, almost like a vlog in the form of a sitcom, with parents playing pranks on their kids, kids playing pranks on their parents, and vice versa. But when you actually take a moment to watch the videos, it becomes clear that there is a lot more going on with this family than the surface would indicate, and there was some pretty dark stuff going on. In this video, I take a deeper look into the abuse, discuss the criticism from Philip De Franco and how the controversy was started, quickly touch on where they are now, and go more in depth with the indoctrination of fans by Mike.
