A judge ruled Monday that there is sufficient evidence for singer D4vd to stand trial in the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

Prosecutors allege the killing occurred after the teen threatened to reveal their relationship, while the defense has denied the allegations.

D4vd, whose legal name is David Burke, has pleaded not guilty to charges including murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 and unlawful mutilation of human remains.

Prosecutors are still considering whether to pursue the death penalty.
