This is the "low budget" version of a build I've been playing since the 2000s, before POE was ever thought of. The high budget version involves difficult-to-find runes such as ber, jah, lo, etc to make an infinity polearm merc with fortitude and enigma body armor for yourself.
I was running Immortal Kings gloves and belt for a long time before getting my second Ist drop, to be able to afford the belt and shift gear around. It feels better now.
This build was made with solo self found gear/runes and trades via diablo2.io. No jsp "forum gold" or RMT was used in making the build.
Merc is a nightmare holy freeze merc, despite D2R tooltip error showing defiance.
