INTRO
A wild-eyed, blood-splattered, farm boy wanders into town. He speaks as if in a trance "pointy teeth...green skin...monsters took us in the night. They took us to the Menhirs of Ma'al. I heard Mama screaming, I heard baby crying, I heard flesh tearing...the monsters cackled...I escaped...and ran..." The boy collapses shaking and crying.
RUMORS (Reliable/Unreliable/True/False/Partially)
1. It is not goblins, but their demon masters who are stealing people at night. I woke up paralyzed with one in my room. Hunched over me. Pinpoints of red for eyes. (R, F)
2. Flint sacrificial daggers of excruciating sharpness are sometimes found near the Menhirs (R, T)
3. The goblins are stirring because of their new, demon-possessed leader, Deadclaw. (R, T)
4. An altar at the menhirs demands blood sacrifice. Some say it grants wishes, but others claim it awakens something far worse. (R, P)
5. Sacrifices to Ma'al are taken to Three Demon Cave and thrown through a gate to the Abyss. (U, F)
