Laura drives a truck and crashes it through a gate. She then immediately opens fire on an old man for doing exactly the same thing. It turns out he's one of the monsters with a very suspicious looking plant growth. Laura fights him and he says some weird and disturbing things. Also, a giant white dove gets involved. Laura only realises she has killed Jannie's grandfather after she finds a picture of both of them, despite the ample evidence she already found a short while earlier, and this upsets her. Kimberley rescues Laura, promises never to leave her alone again, takes some drugs, says David a lot then leaves Laura alone again. Laura then gets a radio call from Jannie who is lost in the mines, proceeds to the cabin up the hill and witnesses one of the terrorists from the plane proposition Kimberley, who responds by blossoming into a monster and killing him. Laura goes to the mines, finds Jannie, they are both killed by a cave in and Laura and Janie wake up to find that they fell through the roof of Kimberley's cabin, which Kimberley finds funny. They then leave the area using the snowmobile.
