In response to an FIR filed in Uttarakhand against Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, D. K. Shivakumar stated that Rahul Gandhi does not care about such FIRs and views them as medals while fighting for Dalits and the Constitution. Questioning the Shuddhikaran Yatra, the leader condemned the BJP-led central and state governments for alleged discrimination and failure to act. Referencing the Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan initiative and its hundred-year celebration, the speaker emphasized that every section of society must be protected with self-respect and not ill-treated. Confirming active participation in ongoing protests, the leader affirmed that despite holding the post of Chief Minister, they remain a dedicated party worker standing against injustice.
