Being the air-headed dreamer that I am, the hummed melody gradually becomes something more grand in my head most times, usually ending in an emotional flourish backed by a full orchestra and choir. I made a tiny katsudon for my corgi Dale North 2011-07-16 | I made katsudon (Japanese pork bowl dish) for my Corgi, Einstein. It's a little tiny one that with a proper sauce (dashi, mirin, shoyu, etc...), egg, and breaded pork, all on top of rice. I left out the onions as they're not good for dogs. I also baked the pork chop instead of frying it. I think he liked it!

McDonalds Japans Manhattan Burger (Big America 2) Dale North 2011-03-08 | Today I tried McDonald's Japan's newest Big America 2 burger. This one's called the Manhattan Burger. It's a specialty bun around a quarter pounder, mozzarella, and some pastrami. It was surprisingly good!
