YouTube had some trouble processing this video. Afterimages and glitches in this video are not present in the source or on the original hardware.

System setup:

Cyrix MediaGXm 266GP CPU
ECS P5GX-M motherboard
32MB PC100 SDRAM
MediaGX built-in VGA video (Cyrix XpressGRAPHICS)

Notes about the testing:

All benchmarks are presented in real time, unless indicated (SysBench memory testing was sped up 4x). Some timing between benchmarks was adjusted in post, for pacing.

You're not seeing things; DOOM runs very strangely on the built-in VGA. Duke3D runs about twice as fast as DOOM, though, so there's something strange with the way DOOM interacts with the Cyrix's built-in VGA silicon. I'm going to test PCI VGA cards with this system very soon.

I'm compiling audio tests featuring the built-in XpressAUDIO, and will release that soon as well.

This motherboard supports Media GXm CPUs from 133MHz to 333MHz via hardware jumpers. Yes, I will be testing overclocking this 266GP in a future video.
