Marvel Tลkon: Fighting Souls just announced Phoenix Cyclops as the first Year 1 DLC character and I'm hyped. Cyclops hasn't been in a Marvel fighting game since MvC2, and this Phoenix variant is straight out of Avengers vs. X-Men when the Phoenix Force was split into the Phoenix Five. He's got Optic Blasts PLUS Phoenix Force powers now โ telekinesis, matter manipulation, cosmic fire abilities. The speculation is already going crazy about whether Arc System Works is gonna bring the full Phoenix Five team (Cyclops, Emma Frost, Colossus, Magik, Namor) to this game. Phoenix Force characters could be absolutely overpowered but SO dope in a fighting game. Fall 2026 can't come soon enough ๐ฅ
