The law is they should be considerate to other road users. We were the 4th car behind them and they just did not care. August 9th 2026. The law in the UK is you have to give cyclists 1.5 metres of space when you overtake them up to 30 mph and a full cars width at over 30 mph. Now with them taking the whole of the road that I am travelling on, for me to give them the required space I would be putting my car into the hedge the over side of the road.
