An industry leader in optics design and manufacturing, Kiroshi is well known to most users as a producer of high quality cyberoptic implants and scanners. The company is also heavily invested in orbital programs across Asia and the Americas, probably to secure manufacturing facilities, as in the cyberpunk universe you can only grow high-grade crystals in space.
After a brief conflict with the German Zeiss company during the Fourth Corporate War, the two rivals signed a peace treaty and divided their spheres of influence.
However they remain in a state of cold war, spying on one another, and possibly sabotaging each other's projects.
I personally love when Cyberpunk lore mixes with real word facts. Zeiss is indeed a real life company and it was founded by Carl Zeiss 1846 and is one of the leading optics manufacturers of lenses today. In the Cyberpunk universe, Zeiss has a significant presence at selling high end scopes for sniper rifles.
Moving back, Kiroshi was originally a watch manufacturer, which expanded in the 1980s. It got its biggest boost by 2013 when it launched an orbital factory with the aid of Japan Aerospace Bureau.
Thanks to that, the company practically monopolized the optics business due to the quality of implants and other products, such as the Optishield, the optical HUD, the optical remote cyber-cam, and the anti-dazzle protection "Opti-Flash."

By 2020 Kiroshi had a design facility in orbit, to be closer to the manufacturing process. It is still not clear how the company evolved over all those years, but we know it is still the gold standard when it comes to eye augmentation.
Nowadays the company is notorious for their advertising material. They sponsor celebrities and pop artists. Here we have the world famous ‘Us Cracks’, who are known for their unique and eccentric eye implants.

On the gameplay footage released so far, we were able to see their products several times. The most notable is when we are on the seat of Ripperdoc Victor.
There we could see The optical scanner Mark 1 and 2 going for 300 and 800 eddies.
