I used Unity in an attempt to create a particle system which would resemble a metaball, (sort of a half liquid / half solid digital mass) that can morph around in strange ways. I sort of failed, but the resulting black and white particle effects won't go to waste as I tinted them in Windows Movie Maker using the Cyan Tone and Sepia Tone visual filters. I created a bunch of looping segments while adjusting the shading and brightness! Shame there is no subtle gradients being overlayed...
