The headline move from this year's MomoCon — Cxmmunity brought 100 kids from the Atlanta / Fulton County community to the show floor so they could see a future for themselves in this space.
The conversation gets real on why community shows up so hard in Black gaming spaces ("we didn't have this growing up"), why everyone from 7-year-olds to college students to seniors is welcome at the table, and why the stereotype that Black excellence stops at sports never held up.
