Join Ohio State scholar Maggie Flinn, editor of Drawing (in) the Feminine: Bande dessinée and Women (OSU Press 2024), for a spotlight interview with CXC 2024 international guest, Swiss-Belgian cartoonist Léonie Bischoff. This career-spanning interview will cover Léonie’s extensive comics output, both in Europe and in North America–including her recently translated comics biography, Anaïs Nin: A Sea of Lies (which, in its original French form, won the Audience Favorite prize at the Angoulême International Comics Festival) and her upcoming comic, The Great Turkey Walk, a classic American story of grit, ingenuity, friendship, and turkeys! CXC is one of only two North American appearances this year by Léonie. You won’t want to miss it!
