CXC 2022: Wimmen’s Comix Turns 50: A Celebration of the Comic and its Legacy
Join us for a discussion of Wimmen’s Comix as we celebrate its 50th anniversary with two of its creators Trina Robbins and Lee Marrs. We will look how the comic came to fruition, the experience of creating a comic that celebrated women when the comics industry and underground comix movement was unwelcoming to women, and its long-standing impact on the comics community. Moderated by Sydney Heifler.
