Aaahhh another spur of the moment pmv. I'd been itching to finish a project for the last few months, and when the commissioned pmv I was supposed to be doing got put on hold (no biggie, its tough times right now for everyone) I rushed to finish something, however small, and this one's been on my mind. I initially wanted this video to be as easy as possible with very little assets to tween, but it got kinda out of hand by the second half u___u thats why you get to stare uncomfortably at Jerome for like 6 seconds in the very beginning lol
I'd been playing this pmv in my head since college! Wrote it out and storyboarded it in one of my notebooks even lol feels good to get this old idea done! Another point for country music ♥

I'll just try to explain the story, cause I know most Ginga fans have only seen the animes. Ginga The Last Wars is a series that first began publication in 2015, and just ended in...2018, I believe? Now the current series is called Ginga Densetsu Noah, and for any fans of the GNG anime, theres a surprise character in there worth checking out!
Ah, back to TLW. It's mainly about the children of demonic bear Akakabuto coming to get revenge on the Ohu dogs, namely Monsoon, who, if you remember from the GNG anime, is a cub whose family was hunted down by John, but he himself was spared because a young Gin stopped John and saved the cub. Monsoon grew up with an intense hatred and also deep fear of dogs. He's actually an extremely interesting character! He rounded up an army of red-backed bears and made his way to Ohu. The series begins very strong and chaotic! All the dogs were attacked in surprise ambushes and many were killed and eaten! And one of them is a dog named Lydia, who is mates with and has a big family with Jerome, one of the most popular Ginga dogs!
She and him met in the Russian arc back in the GDW manga on opposite sides of the war but came together to stop the power hungry leader that led the army she was in. Ginga is known for shitting on female characters but Lydia is actually a soldier just like any other male dog and capable of handling herself. Just like Cross! She and Jerome fall in love along with way, and in future series, have a litter of 6 puppies. They didn't have much screentime in Ginga Densetsu Weed: Orion, but were finally introduced in The Last Wars!...Mainly by dying LOL!
Lydia, along with 3 of her kids, were brutally slaughtered by the bears that sought to take over Ohu. Gosh, when I first read this chapter, I was so heart broken and I was filled with dread. When Jerome comes upon her bloody body and immediately collapses in grief and despair...Ugh, my heart!! Even today whenever I read the chapter, I tear up. My poor man!

I started this back in December i think, i wanted an easy video to do but god dang was it tedious. Super proud of my lip sync though for what it is
This video takes place during Ginga Densetsu Weed: Orion and Ginga: The Last Wars, and is about Sirius, one of the four pups of GDWs protagonist, Weed; and Sirius self-giving and self-sacrificing nature, such as when he is separated from his home and siblings, he is saved and raised by evil-at-the-time Kamakiri brothers (sons of Kamakiri). Even though his saviors are evil and do bad things and plan to overthrow Ohu in their time of weakness, Sirius feel indebted to these dogs, as they saved his life and refuses to leave them even when reunited with his brother Orion. (The Kamakiri brothers turn a leaf, and become good later on, proof to Sirius that people can change when given the chance).
In Ginga: The Last Wars, Ohu is attacked by descendants of Akakabuto, the demon bear from GNG. Sirius, now older, believes too that violence and revenge isnt the anwser when the Ohu dogs declare war on bears, and insists these bears too can change. He fights with his leaders, his brother Orion over the matter but remains stubborn and dead set on at least trying.
He convinces his cousin Zion, who can speak bear, to travel with him to Moonsoon, leader of the bears, and try to negotiate peace with him. Zion is scared and hesitant, but is indebted to Sirius and agrees.
Even when meeting with Monsoon, and being tossed around and berated and threatened by Monsoon, Sirius believes there is a light inside Monsoon that can be saved. Unfortunately, no one and not even Monsoon can see that, but Monsoon keeps Sirius alive and around as his servant/pet/something to eat later, but as time goes on, Monsoon becomes dependent on Sirius, even comes to trust and believe him.
There short-lived peace however is destroyed when Sirius travels back home to convince the Ohu dogs, but the soldiers have already left to go kill Monsoon. Held back by Akakamakiri, leader of the Kamakiri group that saved him, now good-hearted and devoted to Sirius for changing his life for the better and inspiring him, Sirius commands Akakamakiri to let him go, which eventually he agrees to, but fears for Siriuss life as he does not trust Monsoon, but trusts Sirius.
Sirius arrives on time to see Ohu attacking Monsoon who is defending himself and running away from the dogs. Orion readies himself to retaliate as Monsoon approaches, but Sirius flings himself in the middle to take their attacks and save them both, resulting in him dying. and Monsoon and Orion shell shocked. Monsoon escapes from the dogs and Ohu is left to grieve for Sirius, his life cut too short.
Whew if you read that all, freaking congrats and i appreciate it : D more ginga content coming in the future, cross your fingers!
