Omron's Factory of the Future featured at Pack Expo 2022:
• Collaborative robots
Ideal for applications like pick-and-place and palletizing, Omron collaborative robots (cobots) boost the throughput and consistency of repetitive or complex assembly tasks. Attendees will be able to interact with the cobot and program it to perform a variety of tasks.
• Palletizer with collaborative and mobile robots
Using integrated vision, Omron’s TM Series cobot will be building a pallet on top of the LD-250 autonomous mobile robot (AMR), which will then deliver the loads to a designated location. This advanced solution showcases the benefits of Omron’s Sysmac platform and safety technologies.
• Integrated controller machine
This integrated synchronization demo uses the Sysmac platform to create a solution for high-speed pick-and-place and recipe management. Attendees will be able to experience the machine’s processes as they request customized trays of cookies with the dimension and flavor combinations of their choice. This demo uses Omron Quattro and Viper robots and an LD-90 AMR along with vision, safety, servo, and motion technology to create a complete pick-and-place solution.
