This video shows how to cut an 8 inch circle from 1/4 inch plate glass. I will be fusing 5 glass circles into one 8 inch by 1.25 inch thick full sized telescope mirror blank. (I will fuse the glass in a 120 Volt 50 year old kiln in another video soon.) The blank will be ground, polished and figured into a highly refined mirror.

To show how simple this is to do I am using a glass circle cutter I bought from Ebay that cost $13.95 with free shipping. The cutting oil is WD40 and I am using the hard plastic end of a screw driver handle to do the tapping. Thanks for watching!
