Every time I draw a design for a pattern, it starts as a line drawing and I always think it's pretty meh. But then I make it in fabric or thread or paper and I (usually) end up loving it!

You can draw it if you want. You can also applique it, embroider it, collage it, paint it, bead it, weave it, print it out and color it - just take this image and make it YOURS.

If you're wondering - I created my finished drawing in @procreate. Each piece is its own layer and I "painted" it and then layered in some extra texture with my pattern brushes. To get the shapes, I cut up some scrap paper without sketching on it first, then photographed all the pieces and moved them around to make the cat.
